Survivor One World Begins Feb. 15

Survivor Season 24 Cast: One World (c) Monty Brinton, 2011 First of all, I hope everyone's getting the hang of the new blog format.  I know I'm still not used to it--and I've spent a lot of time with it--so I understand if the changes seem like too much. That being said, my favorite part about the new format is that YOU , as readers, can choose from a few different layouts for the blog. There's flipcard, magazine, snapshot, mosaic, etc. So, when you have the time (ha ha ha), you can play around with it and find the one that works best for you. (All of them focus more on the visual and I love that!) PS: I'm still making tweaks to the blog this week (to font, sorting/labeling, and content), so I hope you'll bear with me. I really do love blogging and as I make these changes, I'm just hoping to make the blog worth your time. **** Now, my point! I've been receiving a lot of emails asking me if I'll be blogging about the new season of Su...

And Away We Go!

Well, there's still a lot to adjust, tweak, modify, and add, but here it is: The relaunch of The Deseret Housewife. What do you think? One feature I do like: the sorting feature. You can now sort posts by date, label, author, etc. (And I began labeling today! Not sure we'll backlog, but maybe when time avails.) Lemme know. That is, if we can leave comments using the new layout. I have NO IDEA? (Is that hilarious? Eeek!) PS: Why the new layout? As my husband and I talked about sites we love (to model this one after), we both agreed: the websites with a focus on IMAGES are the ones we love to visit again and again. So, it only made sense to lean toward a mosaic-type layout. PPS:  Survivor content will be up Monday. As well as my fitness regime.

(C) 2012, Imagecher.com. I began blogging about 6 years ago as a way to journal about my life.  At the time, I thought this journal would simply be something me, my husband, and maybe our kids would read (one day). But shortly after I started it, I realized the blog would also be a great way to keep long-distance family/friends involved in our day-to-day happenings. Our youngest 4 kiddos, swimming at the community pool. And now, 6 years AND one reality show later, that circle of long-distance family/friends has grown.  Me and Jeff Probst. For the record, I'll probably be posting this photo at least once a month for the next 5 years. LOL. And while I'm not The Pioneer Woman by any means, the blog now has readers in 30 different countries. It seems impossible.   But, I guess that's the beauty of the internet--we're all connected at the end of the day. Literally. And so, my point. I'm working on a relaunch of the blog this month an...
