Blog Relaunch Update

I began blogging about 6 years ago as a way to journal about my life.
At the time, I thought this journal would simply be something me, my husband, and maybe our kids would read (one day).
But shortly after I started it, I realized the blog would also be a great way to keep long-distance family/friends involved in our day-to-day happenings.

And now, 6 years AND one reality show later, that circle of long-distance family/friends has grown.

And while I'm not The Pioneer Woman by any means, the blog now has readers in 30 different countries.
It seems impossible.
But, I guess that's the beauty of the internet--we're all connected at the end of the day.
Literally.
And so, my point.
I'm working on a relaunch of the blog this month and hope to have it complete by February 1. (I'd planned to have it for January 1, but I'm doing the interface myself, and it's not as easy as I'd thought--and, w/ 6 kiddos, I can't work on it full-time.)
So, what will the new blog be like?
Like the old one, only new.
Ha.
Actually, I'm planning to organize content a little differently and hopefully make the design a lot more appealing.
I know a few of you have emailed and asked "what's taking so long," so thanks for your patience.
And more than anything, thanks for reading my blog.
PS: For those of you who have sent me an email, please know I do read them--and love reading them. (Thank you.)
But, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to respond/manage comments and email.
As I look at my favorite bloggers, I have the feeling that maybe there comes a time when it's no longer possible to respond to all of the feedback? I don't know?
Any advice out there from people who receive a lot of daily communications? How do you manage them? I'd love your suggestions: dawn_meehan@byu.edu
(And yes, I know it's funny that I ask for email when I'm saying "hay, I have a lot of email to sort through." ABCs of me, baby.)
