Zzzzzzz ...

Our dog, Harriet, asleep Survivor Finale' weekend--IN MY PARENT'S BED!

We had no idea. Apparently our kids set this up--and Harriet didn't object.

Sorry, mom and dad!

I hope you all had a great weekend.

We did!

It was our first weekend without Survivor-related things in three+ years. (For reals: I was originally cast for season 21/22, so we've had Survivor in our lives for a looooonnnngg time!)

I heart Survivor and the blessing it's been in our lives so very much, but it just feels so good to come back to life as we know it.

I have never loved doing laundry or dishes more. And I really mean that.

So, until Tuesday, have a GREAT DAY. Much love to you and yours.

PS: For all my friends and family who've been "worried" about us/me, please know, for every criticism someone has shared related to Survivor, I've received at least two supports/love in kind. (Take that, internet cyber-bullies.)

Truly, the love and support has far-outweighed any anger, crankiness, and judgement.

So, Dave, myself, the kids, we are all feeling really good, loved, grateful, and happy about all we have gained through the Survivor experience.

I've said it before, and I'll said it again, at the end of the day, only love remains--because that's what we choose to focus on.

Truly, my personality is hard-coded for optimism--that's one thing Survivor showed me. I told one reporter who was worried about me, "I really think I could lose my arm in a combine and I'd say, 'Well, I learned so much; it was all for the best. LOL!'"

So don't WORRY. We're so SO good.

Boom!
