Tonight's Survivor is a doozy!

 It's Episode 7 (out of 14) and about Day 17 in the game. At this point, we've swapped tribes, and while the Favorites still have a majority of players in the game (8), we're all MAJORLY stressed about whether everyone will stay loyal to their original tribes (Meaning, will the Favorites stay aligned?).

 And to top it off, I'm on the NewBikal tribe, not the NuGota--whom we affectionately refer to as "The Bold and The Beautiful."

For those of you keeping track at home, NewBikal has the oldest male, the oldest female, the youngest male, the youngest female, and definitely the weakest puzzle-masters EVER.

 To put it delicately, we are sucking air.

 But, NuBikal still Sucks Coconuts, in my opinion. Hahahaha.

 I can't wait to see tonight's episode and find out what's been going on with NuGota. I know what NewBikal's been dealing with. (PS: I've had the RUNS, as in restroom issues, for about 5 days at this stage in the game. Sorry TMI? Too much info? Survivor is full of good times, I tell ya! The Survivor Cleanse works!)

 We'll chat tomorrow, assuming I make it through another 3 days in the game!

When The Flu Comes To Town ...

Even Harriet-the-dog threw up this weekend. What the what? Well, if there's anything positive about having the flu, it's having it over a weekend--so you can truly REST from your work/school/etc. Right? Uh, sure. Poor Bam, Dave, Zu and even Harriet-the-dog each caught a weird cold/flu-type thing that had them "down for the count" this weekend. It was awful. I was teasing Dave, but I'm not sure if it's worse to be the one with the flu--or the mom to the ones with the flu. Eeek! (We're talking a lot of laundry and disinfectant. If you're picking up what I'm layin' down.) Hopefully they will be on the mend here soon. And hopefully, the remaining non-flu family members have used enough Purell to keep us germ-free. Recipe: Survivor South Pacific's " Ponderosa Caramel Banana Pancakes"

It's taken me a year to get the recipe (literally).  But here it is:  Chef Simon's  Survivor South Pacific  Ponderosa Caramel Banana Pancakes Ingredients Equal quantities of:  Soft fine dark brown sugar Unsalted Butter Full cream Sliced bananas (say bah-nah-na w/ an Australian accent please) Hot pancakes  Directions 1. Combine butter and sugar together over low heat,  2. Add cream stir with wooden spoon till combined  3. Add sliced bananas. 4. Slowly heat; don't boil. 5. Add to hot pancakes and e njoy !
