Back To Reality ... Jay Opens His Mission Call TONIGHT!

5/8 of the Meehan gang, just two years ago.

Today is a day we've been waiting for FOREVER. Truly, it feels like something we've talked about, thought about, and dreamed about for at least 10+ years!

Jay is getting his mission "call" today!

We are so proud of him--because it just takes so much preparation, dedication, and sacrifice to serve a two-year mission

He's my hero today.

I know pride isn't supposed to be a positive trait, but I don't know how else to describe how I feel for Jay today.

I'm just so happy for him--and this decision and commitment.

We love you, Jay! Tonight can't come soon enough (We're opening the letter at 6pm. Stay-tuned.)

Oh, and last night's Survivor!

Yay! I survived another week in the game! Woo hoo!

And I didn't even have to do any deep breathing!

I was sad to say goodbye to Matt, but truly, Matt had to go. He was on the outside of the majority alliance--being a Fan on New Bikal. He was close with one other player, Michael (break up pairs). And he's probably the NICEST guy left in the game at this stage. For reals! No one in their right mind would take Matt to a Final 3 in this game. He's just such a good heart. (Once the game was over, he sent our son Jay a huge box of shirts and BMX stuff. He's THAT nice.)

Here's a secret scene from last night's episode--where you see Matt's heart of gold:
