This Was Halloween. . .

I love love love Halloween. But, between Sandy hitting the East Coast and just general "busy-ness" here in Utah, Halloween sure did feel different this year.

That being said, the kids still had a great time celebrating and Trick-or-Treating (Well, the ones under 13--our older teens are pretty much in the "hand-out-candy-or-watch-scary-movies-phase" vs. "Trick-or-Treating-phase.").

BTW: I think poor Dave walked nearly 6 miles Trick-or-Treating with Lu and Zu last night (Utahns really REALLY celebrate Halloween. It's like the set of Happy Days here during the holidays.)

Anyway, my point!

Dave walked those 6 miles on an injured foot. Yeowch!

He deserves Father of the Year for that. (Well, that and about 2.7 million other reasons--which I will outline in a future blogpost. LOL.)

I hope you and your family/friends had a great holiday.

(PS: I haven't watched last night's Survivor yet. I do know who was voted out, but I still need to see the episode.)

Cookies from our next-door neighbors. I believe I personally ate 4 of these. (So. Not. Kidding.)

Bam handed out candy for us (dressed as an Indy 500 Pit Girl).

Jay was out with friends--and decided against dressing up.

Zu went as a witch. (With glow-in-the-dark hair.)

Jr. went as a zombie (which still scares the crap outta me).

Lu went as a witch vampire victim.
(Can someone please be a bumblebee next year? These scary costumes are killin' me.)
And Papaya ... well, we've yet to get a pic of her Superhero costume. (She got ready with friends.)
Stay-tuned.

And, Feliz Dia de los Muertos!
