What's In YOUR Fridge?

My fridge.

Okay, I get the Rachel Ray Magazine (love it) each month and one of my favorite sections is the one where Rachel shows the inside of a celebrity refrigerator.

I find the Celebrity Fridge section fascinating for a number of reasons:

1.) It seems celebrity refrigerators are always STOCKED with the most colorful fruits, veggies, and cool condiments.
(Just once, I'd like to see someone with an empty fridge--one with mustard, ketchup, an empty container of milk, takeout, and some wilting lettuce.)

2.) Celebrity refrigerators are so dang clean.
(I can't stand cleaning our fridge. Blech.)

3.) Most celebrity fridges have very little junk food.
(Now granted, these celebrities know that THE Rachel Ray is coming to photograph their fridge, so maybe they take out the cookie dough, ice cream, or other BMI-unfriendly foods. But come on! Can't someone show me a gallon of chocolate milk? Four containers of really cheap cream? Or a half-eaten Costco cake--still in the box with a fork sticking out? That would make my day.)

Anyway, my point!

It's Friday and I have the giggles; I'm so happy the workweek is over! So, I thought it would be fun(ny) to show you what's in my fridge.

Now, remember, I'm no celebrity. Rachel Ray doesn't even know I exist. But, I do have a blog and a camera phone, so I'm goin' for it.

And with that little introduction, here's what's in my fridge today (photos taken minutes ago). PS: Remember, don't judge, just love. I'm no celebrity. Tee hee.

Top Shelf (L to R) = Leftover Chik-Fil-A sandwiches (one completely unwrapped, just sitting on the shelf); Yoplait yogurt; and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.

Middle Shelf (L to R) = Precut carrots (for snacking); half-n-half (for making soups); Rice Milk (because half our kids have dairy issues); hidden = leftover porkchops; hidden = unopened prune juice (which has been in there since July); leftover green beans; 2 kinds of Parmesan Cheese; and lunchmeat (roast beef).

Pull-Out Drawer (hard to see) = Mozzarella cheese and Chorizo (Mexican sausage for adding to scrambled eggs).

Bottom Shelf (L to R) = Eggs; container of sourdough bread starter; yeast.

Drawers = unidentified produce. Looks to me like bulk sun-dried tomatoes, a bag of iceberg lettuce, and apples.

Have a beautiful FALL weekend!
