Awwwww Kat!

If you thought Kat was SHOCKED last night as she left Tribal Council, you should take a look at her Ponderosa clip. Oh my! I nearly cried watching it: there's so much raw emotion there.

Did you watch last night?

Here are some of my thoughts about last night's episode:

1. The women left in the game are so S-T-R-O-N-G.
This is such a tough physical and mental game--and all of the remaining women seem so strong! They each really do seem great for Day 30ish in the game (they are thin, I know). I'm impressed as I watch them make decisions and participate in challenges. It's inspiring to see strong women play Survivor. I love it.

2. I love Kat.
Kat is hilarious. She does remind me a little of Fabio (as others have said). At times, I don't get her AT ALL (crawling to her cousin?), but overall, I love her. She's endearing, she's genuine, and she gave the game her whole heart. And I love watching people leave everything on the table when they play.

3. I'm nervous for Kim.
She has played such a great game; she's incredible. BUT, I worry that the jury is definitely not on-board the Kim-Possible Train. I'm thinking there's a strong chance that Chelsea, Alicia or Tarzan could give her a run for HER money. (And I say HER money at this stage in the game. If the game ended today, she'd be my vote for the million dollar winner. Psst: remember, she still has a hidden immunity idol.)

4. The Loved Ones' visits were great.
I've had a lot of people ask me why everyone is SO emotional at the family visit. I think people feel like 30 days isn't that long to be missing family so much. And they're kinda right--I mean, servicemen and women leave family for months on end; College students leave for semesters at a time, etc. BUT, the difference is this: YOU FEEL UTTERLY ALONE in this game. No one playing the game KNOWS you. I mean they don't know your heart, your history, your family, your TRUE life story. I have never in my life felt such loneliness. And yes, it sounds dramatic. But guess what, it is dramatic. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced. Nowhere in my daily life am I that SOLO. Even on an airplane full of strangers, I feel safe. You never feel safe (emotionally) in this game. So, seeing family is a literal relief. For those few moments, you are back in "the real world" and reminded that you are safe.

5. Tarzan's "quantum" comment was priceless.
I don't get Tarzan, but I love him. His statement about he and his wife having a Quantum entanglement or something, put me over the edge. How sweet is that?

6. Alicia is playing for keeps.
I think Alicia is a Final 3. I'll be shocked if I'm wrong.

Can't wait until next week. You think Sabrina's next? (I do. As much as I love her, I do.)
