Happy Birthday Kindra!
Happy Birthday Kindra!
I hope it's a great day!

PS:
What did you think about Survivor last night?
Here are a few of my random thoughts:
1. Kim is playing a near-perfect game.
Not only is Kim a strong physical player, but she's an incredible social player. The way she managed Kat after NOT picking her (Kat) for the reward challenge ... that was amazin. I mean, Kim managed to make Kat feel sorry for her/Kim! One question I keep asking myself is, where do Sabrina and Alicia fit in here?--because they both seem like strong women--women who may/could challenge Kim's domination (socially) in game (yet they aren't doing that). I guess time will tell. (PS: I love that there are so many strong women playing this game. It's one tough game.)
2. Troyzan played his heart out.
I think when you have a Day 1 alliance dominate post-merge, there's NOTHING you outsiders can do but pray and play for individual immunity. Simply put: Troy wasn't in the majority alliance. And unless someone on the bottom of that majority alliance (Kat, Sabrina, Kim, Tarzan) felt like they were the bottom of their alliance, there was just nothing Troy could do to save his spot in the game. (Much like Boston Rob, it appears Kim has been able to convince everyone in her alliance that she's taking them to F3. How does she do it? Everyone in the trusts Kim more than they trust Troy. Blam!)
3. I wasn't a fan of the slip-n-slide challenge.
I always try to imagine myself playing the challenges, and this was one I didn't want to imagine playing.
4. Kat cracks me up every week.
Kat is like Fabio for me (Nicaragua). I'm so glad she's there each week. She's real. She's naive. She's funny. I just love her. And, truth be told, I think she can win an individual immunity at some point--which I think she will need if she's going to stay to Day 39. (I think Sabrina, Kim, and Chelsea have an F3 bond that trumps everyone else. UNLESS, Kim and Chelsea have decided to bring Tarzan to F3 as a foil/goat. I think Kim and Chelsea are the most close/loyal out of any pair out there.)
5. There are so many rewards!
I can't get over how much food there is this season (and yet, everyone still looks really thin at this stage). Because our season had Redemption Island, the reward challenges were few and far between (each episode had a duel vs. a reward challenge). Man, I would have loved a few more reward challenges. For. Sure.
6. Who knew Alicia would be in the game on Day 30!
I'll admit, I never expected Alicia to survive 30 days in the game. She seemed so "fish out of water" for this experience. But, wow--here she is on Day 30! She's one tough woman! (And I honestly see her as a dark horse here. She's got the strength and courage to make big moves. My only thought is that her edit seems a little less "positive," so I'm not sure she comes out a winner. I mean, if she makes F3, do viewers feel "happy"?)
7. I felt for Christina last night.
Poor Christina. Why does everyone treat her so poorly? I am dying for the reunion show so we can find out what it's all about. (For example, why did most of the players say she "least deserved to be in the game"?)
Well, I'd love to know your thoughts. (That is, if we can get the comment function to work here. Sorry about that. It's a real pain to leave comments. Maybe that's one reason to move the blog back to the old format? Just a thought.)
