Three Things I Kinda Love

Okay, it's not too often that I tell people "Here's what ya gotta do ...."
So, when/if I ever do give advice, it's about something I really believe it. Something I kinda love.
And here are 3 Things I Kinda Love.
They make me smile.
And I hope they make you smile, too.
1. The Color Run.

Our friends Seth and Angie work with this incredible RACE called "The Color Run." If you haven't heard about it yet, you soon will.
It's a 5K run/race with a twist--at each kilometer a different color of "magic pixie dust" is blasted at the runners (all 100% safe and natural).
It is a pretty incredible concept. And the organizers are people you just WANT to support; they're great people. (Pssst: They have races all over the country--from New York to Idaho--so there's probably one near you.)
Isn't that awesome? (Yes.)

2. Survivor One World.

(Please tell me you're watching.)
--The tribes are living on one beach.
--They're divided men vs. women.
And, dun dun dun ...
there's another BYU graduate playing this season--Jonas Otsuji (originally from Hawaii, now residing in Utah)!
Jonas is a sushi chef AND he grew up in my friend's home ward in Hawaii (Mormon-speak for congregation)--so clearly, we heart Jonas! (Can I get a whoop whoop?)
3. The "Pi Day Pie Party."
Our first Pi Party, 2010. LuLu wearing THE Pie Party Hat. (Which, I learned to make from another blogger, but can't remember where/when.) |
A few years ago, another blogger shared her "Pi Day Pie Party"--and that was all it took:
I was officially hooked on the idea. (It may as well be a national holiday as far as I'm concerned.)
What am I talkin' about?
Well, the celebration of Pi, silly.
You remember Pi?
--Pi = 3.1415926535…
--The Greek letter.
--The symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.
Yes, that Pi!
Well, Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world on March 14th ... and by lots and lots of PIE LOVERS, too!
So, get on it! Host a Pie Party this year to celebrate Pi Day. You'll be happy you did.
Promise.
Our Pi Day Pie Party. We made party streamers to look like slices of pie. |
We had everyone bring a pie. (Here's mine.) BTW: It's BYOP--Bring Your Own Pie |

PS: Just by way of reminder, my blog isn't sponsored. I'm posting these ideas because I genuinely love 'em.
